WHAT DO I SAY?
100 Real-Life Situations Kids Wish They Knew How to Handle
A social-skills challenge game for ages 9–14.
Your child knows what to say… until they’re actually in the moment.
A friend leaves them out.
Someone makes an awkward comment.
They’re put on the spot in class.
They need to say no without sounding rude.
They make a mistake in front of everyone.
Or they simply don’t know how to join the conversation.
WHAT DO I SAY? turns 100 of these everyday moments into an interactive social-skills game designed to help children practice what to say, what to do, and—most importantly—how to think before they respond.
For each real-life scenario, your child is challenged to:
THINK about the situation
CHOOSE how they would respond
REVEAL a stronger approach
LEVEL UP the social skill behind it
Along the way, they practice real-world skills including confidence, communication, friendship, boundaries, handling peer pressure, public speaking, emotional awareness, digital communication, etiquette, integrity, and character.
There isn’t always one “perfect” thing to say—and that’s the point.
Instead of memorizing rules, children learn to read situations, consider their choices, communicate clearly, and make stronger decisions on their own.
Perfect for children who:
• Freeze or don’t know what to say in social situations
• Struggle with friendship conflicts or feeling left out
• Need more confidence speaking up
• Find it difficult to say no or set boundaries
• Take awkward moments or rejection personally
• Need practice handling criticism, mistakes, and pressure
• Could benefit from stronger social awareness and communication skills
100 situations. 6 real-life worlds. Countless conversations they’ll feel more prepared to handle.
For ages 7–14.

HOW TO PLAY
WHAT DO I SAY? is simple to play and easy for children to use independently.
Each challenge presents a real-life social situation with four possible responses.
1. THINK
Read the situation and imagine it happening to you.
2. CHOOSE
Pick the response you would most likely give: A, B, C or D.
3. REVEAL
Discover a strong way to handle the situation and learn why it works.
4. LEVEL UP
Unlock the social skill behind the challenge and learn how to use it in other real-life situations.
PLAY YOUR WAY
SOLO: Children can work through the challenges independently.
WITH A PARENT: Talk about the choices and why different responses may lead to different outcomes.
WITH A FRIEND OR SIBLING: Take turns choosing an answer and compare your responses.
THE GOAL ISN’T TO GET EVERY ANSWER RIGHT.
It’s to build the confidence and judgment to know what to say, what to do, and how to think before you respond.
